Rev. Jim Jones & World Vision: Guyana Massacre

"Jones had been contacted in Ukiah by 'Christian missionaries' from World Vision (World Vision is a CIA controlled front operation), an evangelical order which had performed espionage work for the CIA in Southeast Asia"

PART 20:

LT. COL. JAMES "BO" GRITZ AND JONESTOWN

The officer in charge of all U.S. Army Special Forces for Latin America at the time of the Jonestown holocaust was Lt. Col. James "Bo" Gritz. Gritz was the original soldier after which the movie character "Rambo" was patterned. Gritz was the most decorated soldier to come out of the Vietnam
war.

The Guyana massacre was carried out by Bo Gritz' men (along with British SAS troops). *Flatland* (#10)  magazine, in an interview with Gritz, asked him:

Question: You trained Special Forces that went into Jonestown? What was the precise nature of the operation?

"I don't know precisely because it was a compartmentalized operation. The only thing that I do know for certain is what the Sergeant I quote coming out of Jonestown, he was insistent because he was disgusted, on writing this book. He was, without compromise, going to call it *All the Niggers Are Dead.* I asked him, 'Why would you want to entitle anything such an offensive way?' 'It doesn't make a difference what your color, your creed, your sex,' he said, 'when you are treated the way they were, that's what you are; you're a nigger, you're nothing else.' I think that those soldiers saw things that affected them and made them very angry. I've seen other things like that in combat where there have been abuses. I wrote about one of them in my book where the Captain tortured the young severely and the young Sergeant put on a swastika and said, "If I'm going to act like a Nazi I'm going to look like one.' I think that the same kind of negative impact
occurred in Jonestown."

Gritz has more about Jonestown in his autobiography, *Called to Serve.* Perhaps you simply cannot believe what I am telling you. Will you believe it if told to you by the Green Beret officer in charge of the men who did the killing? He admits that the information was "compartmentalized" and it was not until later that he learned what his men were actually doing. The following information is from pages 584-587 of his book:

"The true story of the Jonestown camp in Guyana has been brought to light through an extensive investigation conducted by John Judge, from Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., and other dedicated researchers and
investigators. The truth, which was thoroughly suppressed by the American media, is that it was actually a slave-labor camp run by Jones with the assistance of the CIA. Most of the information which follows is from John Judge's summary of the investigation, supplemented with information provided by Special Forces teams I had earlier trained and commanded, who were sent in to 'clean up the remains of Jonestown.'

"Most of the black and Hispanic poor people and social activists who became the inmates of the camp were brought there either by force or coercion, or lured under false pretenses, where extensive experiments of drug-induced mind control were performed on them. Even before they were moved to Guyana,
reports of beatings, kidnappings, sexual abuse and mysterious deaths had leaked out to the press about the earlier Peoples' Temple in Ukiah, California.

"Jim Jones had a very interesting past which was overlooked by the media: During the time his friend Dan Mitrione was teaching torture techniques to the Brazilian and Argentineans, Jones was also sent to Brazil where his house, transportation and groceries were provided to him by the U.S. Embassy, and he frequently traveled to Belo Horizonte, the CIA headquarters in Brazil.

"Jones had been contacted in Ukiah by 'Christian missionaries' from World Vision (World Vision is a CIA controlled front operation), an evangelical order which had performed espionage work for the CIA in Southeast Asia. Most of Jones' top lieutenants were from wealthy, educated backgrounds, many with connections to the military or intelligence agencies. These were the people who were involved in setting up the bank accounts, complex legal transactions and financial agreements which put people under the control of
the Peoples' Temple.

"Some of Jones' Lieutenants were: Dr. Lawrence Layton was chief of Chemical and Biological Warfare Research at Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah for many years and later worked as Director of Missile and Satellite Development at the Navy Propellant Division at Indian Head, Maryland. His wife, Lisa, was
the daughter of Hugo Phillips, who had represented the huge Nazi manufacturing cartel, I.G. Farben, as a stockbroker. Their daughter, Debbie, met and married George Philip Blakey, whose parents had extensive
stock holdings in Solve Drugs, a division of I.G. Farben.

"Blakey was reputed to be training mercenaries in Jonestown who were sent to work with CIA-backed UNITA forces in Angola. Terri Buford's father, Admiral Charles T. Buford, worked with Naval Intelligence. Marie Katsaris' father was minister with the Greek Orthodox Church, thought to be a conduit
of CIA funding, and she claimed she had proof he was a CIA agent. The 'official survivors' were represented upon their return to the U.S. by Joseph Blatchford, an attorney who had been named in a prior scandal
involving CIA infiltration of the Peace Corps.

"The people who were taken from San Francisco to begin their 'new life' in Guyana were bussed to Florida and arrived in Guyana bound and gagged, where they were forced to work 16 hours or more daily, and were fed on minimum rations. As more and more rumors began to filter back to the United States of druggings, beatings, torture, sexual humiliations and coercion at the Guyana site, Congressman Leo Ryan decided to go to Guyana and verify the situation for himself.

"Ryan had challenged the CIA's overseas operations before, as a member of the House Committee responsible for oversight on intelligence. He was co-author of the controversial Hughes-Ryan Amendment, which would have required advance CIA disclosure to the congressional committees of all planned covert operations. The amendment would be defeated shortly after his death in Jonestown.

"With Ryan on the way to Jonestown, the secrecy surrounding the camp would be broken and desperate measures would need to be taken to keep the truth from escaping, much less the inmates. In a futile attempt to test their conditioning methods, the leaders at Jonestown apparently tried to implement an actual suicide drill, but it was obviously ignored. Official stories first numbered the victims at 408, but later revised the toll
upward to 913. It was claimed that some 505 bodies had been covered by those of the first 408 who had fallen directly on top of them, confusing those who had been counting from aerial photographs. - a blatant and ridiculous attempt at cover-up.

"However, the first reports were true - 408 had died, and 700 fled to the jungle where British Black Watch troops and American Special Forces were conducting 'training exercises.' Of the 700, 505 who had been deliberately shot in the jungle were added to the count of those who had supposedly committed suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool Aid.

"The truth is that nearly 400 inmates were forced to die by injection, according to the Chief Guyanese medical examiner, Dr. Mootoo, who arrived at Jonestown within hours of the massacre. He found needle marks on the left shoulder blades of 80-90% of the victims, and the others had been shot
or strangled.

"As Chief Medical Examiner, Mootoo's testimony to the Guyanese Grand Jury led to their conclusion that all but three of the people who had died at Jonestown were murdered by 'persons unknown.' Several pictures show the gunshot wounds on the bodies as well. The U.S. Army spokesman, Lt. Col. Schuler, told the press, 'No autopsies are needed. The cause of death is not an issue here,' and the forensic doctors who later performed the autopsies at Dover, Delaware, were never made aware of Dr. Mootoo's
findings.

"Guyanese troops discovered a large cache of drugs, enough to control the entire population of Georgetown, Guyana (pop. 200,000), for over a year. One footlocker contained 11,000 doses of Thorazine, a dangerous
tranquilizer, and others such as sodium pentothal (truth serum), chloral hydrate (a hypnotic), demerol, Thallium (confuses thinking), haliopareael and Largatil (powerful tranquilizers) and many others. It was very evident that Jonestown was a tightly-run concentration camp, complete with medical and psychiatric experimentation.

"Direct orders to cover up the cause of death came from the top levels of the American Government. Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Carter's national security advisor, authorized Robert Pastor to order Lt. Col. Gordon Sumner to strip the bodies of the medical bracelets they had been forced to wear for identification. Pastor later served as Deputy Director of the CIA.

"One of the Special Forces sergeants assigned to the Jonestown massacre was so outraged about what he had witnessed that he had decided to describe the events in a book. While the Secrecy Act prevented him from detailing all that went on, SFC Inman carefully hid the entire story within his title: *All The Niggers Are Dead!* When I asked that he explain the crudeness of so naming his report, he replied, 'Sir, that's what they were. Both blacks and whites were niggers; that's what any slave is; that's what they were. That was our final radio message when the job we were assigned was finished.' I could tell by his bitterness that the government had no fear that the book would ever be printed. He just needed someone to vent his anger on.

"Guyanese Prime Minister Forbes Burnham rose to power as the result of a CIA-inspired coup against the recalcitrant Guyanese leader Cheddi Jagan. Richard Dwyer, a CIA agent working as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Guyana, was shown to have been at the scene at the time of the massacre and at the airport strip, where he failed to order Guyanese troops, armed with machine guns, to defend Ryan and his staff.

"Chief Consular Officer Richard McCoy, who was described as 'close to [Jim] Jones,' worked for military intelligence and was 'on loan' from the Defense Department at the time of the massacre. Dan Webber, who was sent to the Jonestown site the day after, was also named as a CIA agent.

"U.S. Ambassador John Burke, who had served in the CIA since 1963 and had worked with Dwyer in Thailand, according to Philip Agee, tried to stop Ryan's investigation. The State Department concealed all reports of violations at Jonestown from Congressman Leo Ryan, while the Embassy regularly provided Jones with copies of all congressional inquiries under the Freedom of Information Act.

"According to current reports, Jonestown has been 're-populated' with over 1,000 Laotion Hmong people who grew opium and served under General Vang Pao during our 'secret war' in Laos and Cambodia. According to these reports, World Vision was also attempting to move the population from the island of
Dominica to Jonestown.

"In addition to the already mentioned torture camp, Colonia Dignidad, another is reported to be located at Pisgua, Chile. Inside Guyana itself is another 'religious community,' named Hilltown, also operated under iron
discipline, with 8,000 blacks from Guyana and the U.S. They were allowed to clear the Jonestown site of shoes and weapons, both of which are in short supply in Guyana. It may only be a matter of time before another Jonestown is exposed. It is sad to know that what started out to be an information gathering organization has turned into an instrument of the dragon."

Dajjal Religious Institutions pt. 3: Farrakhan & The Beast

Dajjal: Imposter.  Ad-Dajjal is the name of the Anti-Christ.  The Beast.

The same Unholy Alliance that targeted Warith Deen Muhammad, Elijah Muhammad's son, also targeted Louis Farrakhan.  Here are the articles from Bilalian News, June 4, 1976, when Farrakhan and Warith Deen Muhammad fell victim to the deceptions of Jim Jones:

http://www.noiwc.org/images/jimmy5.pdf

On October 15, 2000, Farrakhan repeated the call of Jim Jones.  Instead of Jonestown, Guyana, those who attended the Million Family March were encouraged to go to South Korea, under the direction of Sun Young Moon.

Has the Beast subdued Minister Louis Farrakhan?

The introduction of Dianetics into the religious practices of the Nation Of Islam provides a clue.  L. Ron Hubbard, author of Dianetics, openly professed that he was satan incarnate.

Be clear!  Minister Louis Farrakhan has been obliged to promote the cause of three demons; Jim Jones, Sun Young Moon, and L. Ron Hubbard.

Dajjal Religious Institutions parts 1 & 2 reveal the connection between Sun Young Moon and Jim Jones.

In 1976 Rev. Jim Jones took the pulpit in Los Angeles and ministered to thousands of active members of the Nation of Islam, including Minister Farrakhan.  Angela Davis, Feminist, Communist Party USA, was also there in support of Jim Jones. The audience was culled, hypnotized by the prospect of unity, interfaith cooperation and racial harmony. As a result, Jim Jones was able to kidnap a portion of the Black community. After enslaving them in a concentration camp, promoted in the Nation of Islam's Bilalian News, Rev. Jim Jones successfully massacred at least 912 of his own followers, mostly Black women and children, at the Jonestown concentration camp in Guyana.

BAPTISTS, CATHOLICS, EVANGELICALS, LUTHERANS, IMMANS, BUDDHISTS
ENDORSE AND STAND WITH FARRAKHAN

Million Family March News Service - Monday October 2, 2000 - Religious Leaders Answer Farrakhan's Call for Unity, Endorse Million Family March - WASHINGTON, D.C. (MillionFamilyMarch.com) -One hundred and forty religious leaders from around the country enthusiastically endorsed the upcoming Million Family March (MFM) during a Sept. 29 Prayer Breakfast and press conference.

The Baptist ministers, Catholic bishops, Evangelicals, Lutherans, Imams and Buddhists, males and females, all pledged to encourage their membership to attend the Oct. 16 event, declaring they would stand with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the march convener, in his call for family unity. "It is my honor to stand with millions who will represent billions as we stand to fight for families," said the Rev. Walter Fauntroy, a former U.S. Congressman and pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Fauntroy, a close associate of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., also heads the National Black Leadership Forum. "I am pleased to say with some authority that Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of the day when we as religious leaders would stand together to say now is the time for a Million Family March," he said.<

Chicago-based Rev. Thomas Jackson, superintendent of the 10 million member Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.), told the media that "if it were up to me I would get them (C.O.G. members) all here and I will do my part. It is important for us to support this Million Family March because God brought us a long way." Noting the breadth of Min. Farrakhan's message and its implications for all peoples, the Rev. Dr. William Bennett, former director of Religious Affairs for the District of Columbia, said, "I can only celebrate the work God is doing in (Min. Farrakhan)." "We should celebrate and embrace his historic call for unity," added the Rev. Dr. Milton Reid, founder of the Martin Luther King Family Life Institute. "I haven't seen an opportunity like this since the days of Malcolm X and Dr. King."

The religious leaders were gathered for a meeting of the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC), an inter-racial group with membership of more than 4,000 religious leaders. With the motto: "Rebuilding the Family, Restoring the Community, Renewing America," the ACLC members made the breakfast and press conference an official part of their conference to show unity with Min. Farrakhan. The breakfast was held at the Sheraton hotel in Arlington, Va., and the press conference was held in D.C. Mayor Anthony Williams' press briefing room at Judiciary Square. "The call has come for all of us," said Imam Yusef Saleem, representing Imam W.D. Mohammed of the Muslim American Society. "It is important that we come together, one Creator, one creation, one family."

"Why do we call the faith community to support the Million Family March?" asked Dr. Chang Shik Yang, continental director of the Family Federation for World Peace. "Because our families are the lifeblood of our nation. The mightiest empires in history rose and fell not by the might of their armies, or the authority of their governments, but by the strength of their family life, and the moral character that arise from strong families."

The MFM will be convened on the National Mall in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the 1995 Million Man March held on the same spot. On that occasion, some 1.7 million people, mostly men, showed up. "God put a vision and a mission in the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan with the Million Man March," said MFM National Director Min. Benjamin Muhammad. "God is calling us again with the Million Family March and the first bus has just arrived," he said, referring to the busload of religious leaders that pulled up to Washington's Judiciary Square. FARRAKHAN CALLS FOR MOBILIZATION OF THE MASSES

CHICAGOA kindred spirit dwelled over an inter-religious, inter-racial gathering of community and national leadership here Oct. 23 as the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan called for massive mobilization of the people as a follow-up to the recent Million Family March (MFM). Flanked by dignitaries at the head table, including a former and two current members of Congress, Min. Farrakhan called for a large voter turn-out and reiterated his call for the establishment of an MFM Economic Development Fund. He also spoke about the escalating violence between Palestinians and Israelis in the Middle East. Concerning politics, Min. Farrakhan said the apathy in the masses of voters for this 2000 election is comparable to that of the 1996 election when 51 percent of eligible voters did not vote. "The problem is that people have voted and have not realized from their vote what they expected, so they have lost the spirit to engage in this important voting process," he said.

The spirit can be re-energized by understanding "what we are doing and why we are doing it and why it is in our best interest," he said. Min. Farrakhan said a peoples movement must be organized so that the people can punish politicians who say things in order to get "candy" from the "babys hand," explaining that many politicians say whatever sounds good to get votes. He said he intends to be "a voice for the voiceless poor of this nation and the world who are crying out." He suggested that after the Nov. 7 elections, the Black, the brown, the red, the yellow and the poor whites be mobilized into a force that says "no candy unless we see real change."

"We are the real government, and if something is distasteful to us then we as a body should have the power to cut off what is being fed to us," he said. The convener of the Million Family March re-announced the establishment of an MFM Economic Development Fund inaugurated at the Oct. 16 march. The fund, established at Seaway National Bank in Chicago, will be in trust for one year, Min. Farrakhan explained, and then used to promote development and establish businesses and industry in economically deprived communities. Black people are rich, he said, but the poverty that exists in Black communities is due to a "poverty of ignorance, and a poverty of spirit." "Any time $550 billion can come through our hands in one year, we are not poor," he said. "But something is wrong with us that we are not using our own economic strength to our advantage."

He asked that march attendees, entertainers, and other interested parties contribute $100 (or more) to the not-for-profit fund between now and Oct. 16, 2001 to help reach a goal of $1 billion. Min. Farrakhan introduced the funds board members: U.S. Representative Earl Hilliard (D-Ala.), chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus Task Force for the Million Family March; retired Congressman the Rev. Walter E. Fauntroy of New Bethel Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.; attorney Rose Sanders of Selma, Ala.; activist Viola Plummer, co-founder of the December 12th Movement in New York; Nation of Islam Chief of Staff Leonard F. Muhammad; and Nation of Islam attorney Arif Muhammad.

Min. Farrakhan said that Black Entertainment Television President Bob Johnson has accepted to be on the advisory board. Min. Farrakhan added that since he announced the Fund at the Million Family March, donations are already pouring into Seaway National Bank. Concerning the conflict in Israel, Min. Farrakhan compared the Palestinian existence to apartheid in South Africa. He warned that injustice is the basis for the "insanity" that is gripping the Holy Land. "The Palestinians have been dealt a severe blow when land was taken from them to form the state of Israel," Min. Farrakhan said. "The Arab world felt this was an injustice. Of course, when you believe religiously that this land belongs to you by the Holy Word, then you invoke the name of God to do what you do.

"Well, if you really want to invoke the name of God, that land belongs neither to Palestinians or Jews. It belongs to the righteous. If you are a righteous Jew, a righteous Christian, a righteous Muslim, thats your home. But if you hold up these names but you are not acting according to the laws, statutes and commandments of God, that land will spit you out because it is the heart of the earth," he said. He asked that if the Jewish people have desired a state of their own that is sovereign with their own flag to be a self-determined people, is not this right for the Palestinians as well?

Among the many community, religious and political dignitaries attending the press conference were Mufti Sheik Nafigulla Ashirov, chairman of the Spiritual Muslim Board of the Asiatic Part of Russia, and co-chairman of the Mufties Council of Russia; the Rev. Walter L. Coleman of Adalberto United Methodist Church in Chicago; Congressman Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.); the Rev. Maxine Walker; and Dr. Billy McCormack of Shreveport, La., and board member of the Christian Coalition co-founded by Rev. Pat Robertson. Min. Farrakhan thanked the Rev. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon of the World Family Federation Church for World Peace for their financial assistance in helping to make the Million Family March a reality.

At the conclusion of the press conference, several speakers addressed the media and audience seated in the Salaam Restaurant Grand Ballroom. Host Congressman Danny Davis (D-Ill.) and Congressman Hilliard thanked Min. Farrakhan for his far-reaching vision of bringing America together. The Rev. Fauntroy of Washington, D.C., who was instrumental in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.s 1963 March on Washington, and a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus, said Dr. King would have been proud of the Million Family March because it symbolized the "reaching of the mountaintop."

Billy McCormack of the Christian Coalition, told The Final Call that he had been misinformed about Min. Farrakhan. "But when I heard that Min. Farrakhan had called for an agenda of love and reconciliation of the races, I knew I had to come and express my gratitude for this kind of love that hes expressing. He is the one man that has the ear of so many people in America and to have an agenda that is specializing in reconciliation, I had to come and show my support for that. "We (Christian Coalition) have been stereotyped quite well through the media as someone that's not acting in all peoples best interest, but my being here is an indication that we stand for the rights of all people. When there is issued forth a call for all people to work together and love one another for the Kingdom of God, this is what we want to be a part of," he said. WE COME AS MANY, LEAVE AS ONE

We Come As Many, Leave As One by Minister Louis Farrakhan: Whenever we are so embittered that we would destroy places that are set up for the remembrance of God, this is a sign of madness. And the madness that we see in the Middle East has a basis. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that the stars in the heaven justify our belief in God, and therefore the star has always been used to represent justice. So the Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that where there is no justice, human beings begin to act savagely or have a sense of insanity because of the deprivation of this vital principle of life, the principle of justice.

WE COME AS MANY, LEAVE AS ONE REMOVING THE IMPEDIMENTS TO BECOMING REAL FAMILY BY MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN [Editors note: The following text is excerpted from the historic message delivered by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan at the Oct. 16, 2000 Million Family March.]

In the Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful. I, today I have written no notes. I thought that I should like to come today and stand before you and let Almighty God have His way with me and guide the words of my mouth and my heart, that I might speak to your minds and your heart, that we may have come in as many, but I pray that God will allow us to go out as one. As I look at humanity, it is as though no prophet of God has ever appeared among us because, as human beings, we are filled with hatred for one another. We are destroying each other, and at this very moment in Egypt, the Palestinians and the Israelis are sitting down with President Clinton and King Abdullah of Jordan and President Mubarak of Egypt to try and work out a peace in that troubled area.

We have witnessed, in the last 16 days, unparalleled brutality. We have witnessed, in the last 16 days, the destruction of religious houses, holy places belonging to the Jews as well as the Muslims. Whenever we are so embittered that we would destroy places that are set up for the remembrance of God, this is a sign of madness.

There can be no peace in that troubled area that is a lasting peace unless that peace is structured on the principle of justice -- justice for the Palestinians, justice for those who suffer in the world, justice for the poor and the weak, justice for the sick and the imprisoned, justice for those who have been locked out of society. Unless justice comes, there can be no peace. Even in this great nation, we will be at each other's throats as long as the principle of justice and equity are denied. So today, as I look at the children of Abraham -- Muslims, Christians, and Jews -- Abraham would be totally upset that we would recognize him as a father and God as a father, and then turn around and slaughter each other, as is going on even as we speak. God would be displeased.

In the Holy Quran, it teaches us, Abraham was not a Jew or a Christian; he was an upright man. So we cannot claim Abraham by blood lineage alone. We can only claim Abraham as a father if we live uprightly, as Abraham did, and worship nothing or no one but the one true God. Not yet human. If you look at the human family -- now, I'm talking about black, brown, red, yellow and white -- we all seem to be frozen on a subhuman level of existence. I want you -- I'm going to say it again, because I want you to think with me. I said, humanity seems to be frozen on a subhuman level. In Islam and, I believe, in Christian theology and Jewish theology as well, there are three stages of human development. The first stage is called the animalistic stage of development, and all of us have animal passions. But when we submit to animal passions, then we can do evil things to one another in that animalistic stage of development. But when moral consciousness comes and we have a self-accusing spirit, it is then that we become human beings. Right now, we have the potential for humanity, but we have not reached that potential, because we are functioning on the animalistic plane of existence. Allah says in the Qur'an, We created you into tribes and families that you may know one another and, parenthetically, not despise one another.

My question to you today is, what do we know of each other but the worst of each other? We have not yet seen man and woman as man and woman were created to be. We are a caricature of what God intended. If in Genesis He created the man and the woman in his own image and after his own likeness, he created us, then, to be reflections of himself, and David, the psalmist, said, "Ye are all God's children of the most high God." But look at our behavior. Satan has turned us completely around where we can say, "Ye are all dogs children of the most low Satan."

My question to us as human beings is, whose children are we, and how will we know that we are children of God, except that our actions and our speech is a godly action and a godly speech, otherwise we have to say we have been devoured by Satan. (Cheers, applause.) The poison of I am better I respectfully say to you, my beloved brothers and sisters and members of the potential human family, that a poison exists and it starts with the thought that I am better than you because I'm black; or, I am better than you because I am white; or, I am better than you because I'm rich; or I am better than you because I am more highly educated; I am better than you because I have something that you don't have. These are false yardsticks used by human beings to justify their ill treatment of one another.

In the Holy Qur'an, Iblis, which is another name or characteristic of Shatan, was told to bow down to a man that was made of dust. And Iblis refused to bow down. And God asked him, "Why didn't you bow down when I commanded you?" And Iblis said, "Because I am better than he. I am made of fire, while he is made of dust." Whenever you start thinking you are better because of some characteristic that you have that sets you apart from somebody else, this is the beginning of a satanic mind. I want you to hear me, because there is a yardstick that we can say one is better than the other; but it's not your race, it's not your color, it's not your creed.

The thing that makes one human being better than another is our duty to God and our righteous conduct. Look at these beautiful flowers. (To staff.) Hand it to me, please. Now look at this. What is more beautiful than a bouquet of flowers, different colors, but growing out of a common earth, needing a common water, growing into a common atmosphere? Who would be stupid enough to say the rose is better than the orchid? You just won't talk like that. Nature won't let you say the rose is better than the orchid. The rose might be your preference, but who said it's better? I think it's ignorant. Don't you?

Now look at the earth out of which we grow. There's black earth. There's brown earth. There's red earth. Yes, there's sand that is white, sand that is pink. And we who live on the Earth rejoice because we grow our food in the black earth, we make our bricks from the red clay, we put our foot in the sand when we go to the beach, and we're not thinking of sand supremacy -- (laughter) -- or black earth supremacy; we're just enjoying what God has given us, and we give Him the praise.

God is the author of color. Why are you going crazy because you see color in the flowers, color in the rocks, color in the Earth, color everywhere you look, and color in the human family, and now we can accept the differences in rocks, in stones, in earth, but we cannot accept the differences of color and characteristics in one another. That says that the human being is sick. Symbols limit human potential. Every organization that's here is represented by some symbol. As an Omega, you have your symbol. As a Delta, as a Kappa, as an AKA, you have your symbol. As an Elk, as a Moose, as a Lion, you have your symbol. As a Crip and a Blood you have your color. None of these things define you. All of these things limit you because your symbol and mine create divisions among us. I am a Christian, you say, but you are a Muslim. You wear your cross, I wear my crescent, so I'll be over here and you'll be over there. Wrong, wrong, wrong! (Applause.) That is wrong.

I am a Christian. Did you hear me? Farrakhan said, I am a Christian. I am a Jew. I am a Muslim. I am Pentecostal. I am of the Church of God in Christ. I am a Jehovah's Witness. I am a Mason. I am a Shriner. I'm all of that and then some, because I refuse to let things limit me as to who I really am, and you should not allow that, either.

When I say I am a Christian, I delight in the cross. It means a lot to me. The cross is not a symbol of wood with a horizontal and a vertical bar; the cross is a symbol of the dual nature of the human being. He has a horizontal nature, which is animalistic. He has an upright nature, which is vertical. The cross represents our struggle to overcome the horizontal and grow into the vertical.

The Star of David is two equilateral triangles, one pointing up, one pointing down. Six sides, six angles. The Bible says, Count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. But the man is God's man, and the beast is also under the same number, because the beast is a man that has fallen down, and the God-man is a man that is looking up and gets instructions from above. And the fallen man is he who gets his guidance from the lower extremities. We follow our sexual appetite. We follow our lust for material things, for power.

The crescent represents equality. The star represents justice. The sun represents freedom. That flag is up above our heads, and the God who created that -- He doesn't let the sun shine on white people and miss black people. Does He? He doesn't let the rain fall on the Native American and not fall on other members of the human family. God is just, and he's no respecter of persons. It doesn't matter what your color is, what your race is, with God it is righteousness that He is after.

And so, my family, these symbols must give way to that which God will bring and make new among us. I say to all of these symbols, they make us symbols, and we don't have the substance of a human being created in the image of God.

As I come to a conclusion, I want to address three problems. Family life: Any policy, rule, regulation or program that does not promote the growth of the male and female, the sanctity of marriage and family, is a rule, a regulation or policy that is not a good rule, regulation or policy. The family is the basic unit of civilization; therefore, everything must be done to care for the family unit.

Two. None of us can become human beings and divine beings without knowledge. Therefore, the access to knowledge should be what government is spending money on, not more weapons. There is no nation on this Earth that can defeat America militarily. There is no sense of saying to the American people, "We need Star Wars because somebody is going to shoot a rocket at us." They're not insane; they know if they shot one rocket, you (U.S.) could shoot a hundred. So war and the threat of war is a pretext to take the taxpayer's dollar and make more and more weapons, while the American people have insufficient education, insufficient teachers, insufficient qualifications to come into a modern society. This thing needs to be reversed.

Education is not a privilege. Education is a human right. In your education, you must exalt the woman. (Applause.) Any system of education that does not give us a healthy respect for the female is a failed educational system. Any system on this Earth that says that a woman is only for pleasure and procreation is a backward system, and any system that says the female are our natural partners in every act of the building of home, school, systems, and institutions of government, then we are properly educated. The woman is the cornerstone of the family.

I respectfully say, to everyone that's here, all of our religious institutions need reform. (Applause.) I'm going to say it again. All of our religious institutions need reform. It is not God that has relegated females to this inferior position; it is our misunderstanding of the word of God. When Jesus was on the cross, most all of the male disciples had run away. Only one was there. That was John. But there were three women at that cross, and one of them was His mother. When He was resurrected, according to Christian theology, the men were somewhere in the upper room, talking, but it was women that discovered that He had been raised. I ask you a question. Do you think any pulpit made by man is better or more important than a female created by God? And if you love Jesus because, you say he died for you, then look at the female that has given birth to your son or your daughter. Do you know that when she lays down to give life to us, she experiences the same pain of death as the pain of giving birth? Look at the hours sometimes that she is in labor -- one hour, two hours, four hours, 10 hours, 14 hours, 18 hours -- and then she gives us life. Well, if you can love Jesus because he died for you and me, then you better grab your wife and the woman that gave birth to your children and hold her tight because she died for you and me, and she suffered in labor for you and me, that the human family could continue to grow and flourish.

GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND FLY

We (the people) can make a difference. So I want to ask you, in the words of (singer) R. Kelly, I really believe we're going to have to fly. And when I say fly, the Bible say one day we're going to take on wings. Wings doesn't mean that you're going to grow wings out of your back. Wings means that the wisdom and the knowledge of God and the understanding of the Word will give you power to rise out of the gravitational pull of the Earth, out into space.

If you have the wings of knowledge---when you have a book and you open the book, it looks like wings. The Bible is a book of heavy knowledge. Open it, and take on wings. The Holy Qur'an is a book; a healing for the nation. Open the book and take on your wings and fly away. It's only when you put on wings that you can rise above blackness, rise above whiteness, rise above color, rise above national origin, rise above ethnicity, rise above sexuality, rise above materials---when you take on the wings of knowledge, then you can rise above all the things that have kept us divided as a people. God bless you all. As-Salaam Alaikum.
